He's a complete faggot, he didn't do shit. The only thing he made was the script and the fact that a Pokemon controlled the ocean currents, nothing else. They later used Lugia (who was designed by someone else entirely) in the movie instead. Then Shudo was flabbergasted that it would show up in the games and not be movie exclusive. He's a huge egotistical faggot that thought he was creating the most unique Pokemon experience ever at the time, while really contributing fuck all hardly beyond basic writing and concept (which really didn't mean much of anything at all). The maternal thing only came up much later, and if he really wanted that then he would have written it in and have it more prominent, but didn't.
