>>56867328>You'd never see the opposite happenshiny zygarde wasn't obtainable in japan, you literally prove my point that people do not accurately see the other side and just complain about what we miss out on, you think all our exclusives are just random regular mons and theirs are all shiny mythicals, they've got their own regular mons as well (which usually require more effort like going to an in person pokemon center, making a purchase and doing a retarded dance for a clefairy code, or going to an in person pokemon center on your birthday, showing them your switch and game for a pipulp in legends arceus) and we've got our own cool shit too (which is easier to get by just walking into a gamestop/eb games and grabbing a code or just connecting to wifi, instead of needing to go in person and preorder a movie ticket to movie you might not even give a shit about to get a code)
does japan have more cool distributions than us? maybe I haven't gone and done a comprehensive comparison myself but also their distributions we don't get are because we lack an equivalent, we stopped getting pokemon movies in theatres ages ago and a lot of the cooler distributions (like the shiny mythicals) are ultimately just promotions to get people in theaters/drive ticket sales (which they obviously don't need to do here when there are no tickets to sell here), it's not just japan as well, korea gets a lot of cool theatre distributions in newer gens that both us and japan miss out on since they've been actively releasing the older pokemon films in theatres
