>>56873455>felonyAs a lawyer, I can tell you that justice is not about making things right and just, it's one of the first things we are taught.
Even the case against him is full of holes and was poorly judged on many parts. But you shouldn't be surprised by the ignorance and delusion of people who are living life through social medias all day and are neither talking face to face with real people or going out and educating themselves directly about the world around them and how things work, but prefer listening to what others are telling them to trust in an echo chamber and feed their own ego because they can't stand being wrong and accept reality.
That's the issue with the ego, it's good when butt naked in a forest because it tries to protect us, but in a social civilized world, it has a tendency to react wrongly to things that aren't a threat because it would be one in that completely different environment it's naturally prepared for but not this one.
What you have there are people feeding their egos to that point they can't admit their wrongs or it would mean losing a part of themselves like some sort of death of oneself, not understanding that the point is to grow, and change is not always a bad thing, even a change inside us, a change in what we believed was true or not. Instead, it's much easier to attach yourself to your personnal views, thinking it's a part of you or your personnality, and losing that would mean losing yourself completely.
The ego is something you work with, it's a reactive part of you trying to protect your well-being through emotions and habits, not something you should trust 100% or try to kill.
