one look at the Hoenn trio for example, and the designs immediately convey their role in the world. Dialga/Palkia are more abstract, but at least have signature moves relating to their themes. the Gen V dragons, you literally would not know what they were supposed to rent except for some half assed exposition dumps within the game.
