>>56882111don't listen to yawnie. the map design is pretty much the same as any other 2D Pokemon title. there's some good routes with lots to explore, and some that are underwhelming. if you've played Pokemon on the gameboy or DS before, you pretty much know what to expect.
it's a good game. some of the best teambuilding in the series. it can be kind of railroaded at times, but outside of a few bad instances, the pace is pretty snappy. it's just a well done, classic Pokemon game. play it and form your own opinions.
