Pokemon Korea would be so fucking kino, each version has you starting off as a citizen of one of the two countries, one militaristic and poor but full of wilderness with cultivated rare Pokemon from different parts of the world, the other extravagant and urban with Pokemon to match, with a K-Pop band of Meowths. And each version has you cross over into the other, passing your rival from the other side and facing them as league champion at the end on that big island in the south.
Bare basics, military region that's uptight but well meaning, versus urban region that seems sort of soulless and hollow, and they still have to work together to fight different badguys, that look like Chinese and American Militaries, with a Pokemon Mao Zedong and General MacArthur who want to use the Twin Legendary Pokemon to rule Pokemon Korea. Then in the threequel they have to face the third legendary, a Dragon of Seven Volcanoes, representative of Japan.
