It's true, but why? Did they just forget to give him the normal type, or are they just not doing that anymore?
Honestly, I'm all for it. Nugen Pokémon doesn't do a lot of things right, but I can appreciate making pure flying less of a rarity.

I think it's stupid.
Pure FLYING Pokémon should embody the very essence of being airborne.
It ONLY works for Tornadus, who is an avatar of wind, air and flight.
Pure flying should be reserved for Pokémon that CAN ONLY FLY, 24/7.
Rookidee isn't even flying in its OFFICIAL ART.
