>>56896623Originally it was meant to be a blue/black poison dart frog, that was the whole point, but then they kept shifting back on the idea because he's the grass starter, so he has to be green, but then they still want him to be blue because green frogs aren't poisonous usually, so they made him some weird blue-green shit. The entire line is like that, hell they still flipflop with other Pokemon too in terms of color.
