If I like the premium rewards I can just resubscribe again to complete the missions
For the packs, getting 1 extra per day doesn't feel that impactful when you're getting 2 free packs per day.
Yes it's a 50% increase, but the ratio doesn't make it feel worth the 10 bucks

My trial has ended yet but I'm considering keeping it, an extra 150 cards, 60 pack points and 750xp a month + the mission rewards seems good.

setting up venoshock with weezing is cool and all, but it requires koga to get that high damage off considering the retreat costs. I'd love an item that can swap the position of the main and benched pokemon.

Yeah not worth it, ESPECIALLY if they aren't going to change the event cosmetics once a month. Maybe if the event cosmetics are of pokemon I really like I'll consider subbing but even then I dont know.

I know technically it's the best bang for your buck in the game. Packs cost about a dollar and this gives you 30 packs for $10 but something feels wrong about it. Does anyone know if the delibird packs stack?

You’re wrong. Pikachu’s 120 hp is already a liability when paired with the card’s maximum damage output of 90. The other basics, barring an early misty + articuno play, also require several turns to swing for big numbers. The game’s balance is fine.

What a fucking colossal stupid statement. Pika EX is a bullshit card that will warp electric design going forward because its such a braindead strategy with no downsides.

Starmie is also complete bullshit, no retreat cost of a stage 1 with 2 energy 90 damage completely removes every other water mon from consideration short of getting a lucky misty on articuno.

Both water and electric are going to see the absolute worst power creep in the future, or have to put up with new sets giving them nothing worth while because they pushed those two cards as hard as they did.

Every Mewtwo player I've gone against just ragequits if you red card them once, or Sabrina and knock out their Ralts, even if my board isn't even close to set up. Every other deck's players at least attempt to persist. And I play a shit Surge deck because I'm a lucklet.

It's not really about throwing a fit, it's just that Mew2 deck is extremely linear with close to none rng, so while playing it you can basically tell you're either going to win or lose at some point. And if you know you're going to lose why bother with finishing it instaed of conceding?

I quit when the match seems not winnable anymore. why would I stay around for 5 more minutes and let the loss play out? there's no penalty for losing so I'll just go queue into a new match instead. doesn't mean anyone is raging. have you ever played chess? in that game it's common courtesy to concede when you have been beaten instead of letting the opponent chase you around the board for half an hour till they got you cornered.

your deck cards turn whatever language you change to, but internally they are counted as whatever language you opened them as i.e if you have english cards then change language to japanese they will be displayed in japanese but still registered in the binder as (ENG), so any jap packs you open will be registered as (JP) but still show up in whatever language you have as default if you add them to your deck

I'm stuck at level 13. Can't beat the hard decks. Can't get enough hourglasses to pull decks to try and get better cards to get better cards to build better decks.

When the new sets drop (next month?), the game better give us tons of hourglasses otherwise I'm not pulling shit.

Agatha used Arbok in RBY. Most of the elite four were more like dual type specialists back then. Lorelei used Ice and water, Bruno used Fighting and Rock, Agatha used Ghost and Poison and Lance used Dragon and Flying. Infact, Agatha was the only whose entire team shared a type and it was actually Poison because the only Ghost types back then were also Poison types.

Post your decks. You don't need the best decks to get wins. Most people decks aren't all that optimized and they're often making tons of misplays.

I have one of each type of energy deck (sans metal and colorless obv) and I can generally win matches against the computer with the exception of the expert matches and that's only because I don't have enough good high end cards.

I also haven't been able to fill a single Ex, theme or rental deck due to missing a couple cards from each

Zapdos is the best basic by far and a fantastic backup plan when your rat is at the bottom of the deck. It's hard to get oneshotted while having the threat of vegasing 150 damage out of nowhere. The generally accepted pikachu decklist is 6 basics, with the 2 remaining basics being either voltorb(0 retreat, better against slow decks terrible against mirrors and aggro) zebra(pings backrow) or the pincushion meme

Oh, I lose to them probably more than I beat them for sure. The only tough match-up besides maybe venosaur. In a tournament setting, I'd rely on hopefully dodging dark decks early rounds as they die to the pika menance. Venosaur is probably better for me BC their deck is way more inconsistent. Arbok Weezing is certainly mewtwos worst matchup and I'll need a clutch geovani on ekans or weezing, or a nuttted double mewtwo garde draw to win

nah you don't need it man, a good thing about Pika is the different variations are pretty useful with no clear best, so you can kit the deck to whatever you want. I'm running Raichu because I only have 1 Zap EX and it still works fine. Just steal a decklist from the top cut here based on whatever Pokemon you have or wanna use

Hmm this is interesting. I grinded to 25 wins (will do the other 20 this coming Saturday) with my list as posted, every time I had Electrode in my hand it felt bad. A lot of these lists seem to favor running two evo lines though. Bro. What do you mean by this? Are you saying you are trying to collect pieces for multiple decks to fight the computer with? How long ago did you start playing? If you just started I'd reccomend you start over.

You SHOULD NOT be pulling equally from all decks. You are handicapping yourself. Unless you were prioritizing building a misty deck but even then there's better ways to do that. like not pulling from Pikachu and just sparking misty.

What everyone else here is doing or did. Was pull from a SINGLE PACK until we had most of the cards we needed for our meta deck. Then started moving to other booster packs systematically. For instance. I pulled from the Pikachu pack. My friend next to me, pulled from the mewtwo pack. We have completely different decks but our decks are 100% complete pretty much and can easily do the solo expert battles and lapras ex battles.

If you haven't been playing longer than a week I'd consider rerolling and focusing all of your pulls on Mewtwo, IF you want a mewtwo deck. but again I don't know which deck you want to build but it should never be a focus on besting the computer and especially not with multiple decks to counter it or attempt to build rental decks. RENTAL DECKS ARE GARBAGE.

your wonder picks should be targeted to help collect missing pieces for your deck. First and foremost.

Yeah I think you've been playing this wrong. Depending on how close you are to a meta deck inwould consider it. Maybe show your cards so you can get feedback you might be very close to building multiple top level decks

I've only been playing with the deck a little bit because I got my Pikachus only recently but I can see why Electrode is a little underwhelming especially if its a mirror match. Raichu is fun because the 140 is a secondary win condition for the deck that a lot of people can't prepare for or even realize is coming because they donate all their resources to beating Pikachu. Zebstrika looks like fun too because it can soften the blow of going first and the 30 can be huge in a deck that doesn't hit as hard lategame as other decks

Been running a pika deck for a while, and I agree with everything except raichu being stealthy. Every good player spots that option well before it’s ready (unless you happen to have a retreat + surge play ready for a knockout, but that’s an expensive move in the mid game). I think I prefer zeb, overall, but there have been games where I thought raichu would have been nice to have. Potion is just too common for zeb to consistently win games.

Uh, I guess i should give some praise to Dena, they made sure that you always get the cards as long you are in the "choose your pack" menu which is bless for me who has a curse phone that ALWAYS FUCKING CRASHES when playing a game. Serious, why this happens? it wasn't always like this, it started when the phone got it first firmware update, since them it always crashes games at any random time and nothing fixes it.

Yeah that's problem. You have a lot of good cards but they don't do anything together. Someone with half of the exs you have will have more for a single deck.

Figure out what kind of deck you want to focus on. If it's not a charizard or eggecutor deck you should re roll. The Articuno and Pikachu ex don't mean a thing because you only have 1. What deck do you want to make? If you don't care about battles and only want to collect Full Arts and exs then it doesn't matter I guess but if you want to build a deck that can get some wins, I'll help you figure out what to do.

Pikachu is the only thing holding water back. Otherwise it's a really good deck. They have decent bulk and hit hard, their only weakness is they require a lot of energy. But the you have EX Starmie who's like "lmfao I do everything" with amazing bulk, low energy cost, high damage, and literally 0 retreat cost, so it evens out if you just have it as your early game sweeper until you build up his bros to finish off late game.

If they just nerf Pikachu, Misty decks will rise in popularity.

Do you want a charizard deck? If you do keep the account, if not I'd reroll immediately, do all the advanced missions and solo battles, which should be easier if you're picking from a single pack. Finishing all of the solo battles will give more hourglasses too.

There's been a lot of exeggutor decks posted but it's mostly together with Venasaur.

If you've only been playing for 5 days I'd really consider rerolling unless you really want to do a charizard deck. If you want to stick it out with this account, I'd suggest using your wonder picks to finish your charizard deck, then maybe collecting Venasaurs. And using the crafting/sparking pack points to make Charmander or whatever basic/stage 1s you need.

You shouldn't be crafting anything except 3 diamond cards (150 points), crown rares (2500), and 2 star cards (1250). For the average player, realistically that means you should only craft 3 diamond cards, since it'd take like five months to open enough packs for your 2 star waifu.

The exceptions are if your 3 diamond card has a higher rarity version, like Weezing, then don't craft either version of it, just pull for it. And if you just want like a handful of commons and then you're never going to pull from that pack again, it's also fine to craft those.

I feel you. I didn't spec Gio because he's redundant. He's literally just a worse Blaine in this specific deck. Admittedly, the potions aren't exactly game breaking, though. I like em because having 6 supporters in the deck is already butty. I can't imagine you ever get to use the 7th trainer kek. This deck is so fast with no late game that you win or lose by turn 5 no matter what.

I think he'd be so much better if they dropped his retreat cost. With 3 to retreat, you basically have to burn both of your X speeds or let the opponent take two points while hoping to high roll on the slot machine. And since Venusaur is the primary Grass deck, you can't just go around wasting energies all willy nilly.

Surely they increased the pull rates for the Promo Packs on the last update, right? It took me 20 packs to get 2 Lapras 2 Mankey on my main.

To be honest though the immersion rares are nicer anyways and they're really common, so nobody should be crafting high rarity cards of anything aside from their waifu's full art.

I'm suspecting next set will have Scizor Ex.

• Popular mon
• No Metal-type EX pokémon in Genetic Apex
• Not a single Johto pokémon in Genetic Apex, when several other gens got representation
• Scyther currently in Genetic Apex is pretty useless

I know thry made sure to include the original 151, so my third bullet point is mostly moot.

Onix and Golbat would also benefit from a Johto-focused set. Crobat would probably make a good Ex as well.

You're not wrong, but the reason there's no Metal EX in Genetic Apex is just because it's all Kanto, and no Metal Pokemon in Kanto is eligible.
Magnezone is the only actual Metal-type there, but it's stuck waiting for Magnezone + for now it's an Electric-type instead. Steelix and Scizor are both Gen 2 evos.
Like you said, next set is probably largely focused on Gen 2 (Celebi promo for full collection?) so one of those will have an EX, if not both.
The EX better be colorless attacks, or introduce colorless attack versions of the pre-evos, if they already aren't.

Agreed. If it requires Grass along with Metal energies then it could work well with Lilligant. I also think we'll see Ampharos, Crobat, Houndoom and Steelix in ex variants, but probably nothing from the later generations.
