I liked how the Emerald BF was like an actual area you could explore instead of just being a hub for battle facilities like in Plat/HGSS. Figuring out how to get into that one-way cave by the battle tower and finding that it's full of whack-ass Smeargles was a lot of fun.

Loved the BF as a kid, but never made it anywhere do to knowing jackshit about competitive battling. Now I'm trying to do what little me could never do and get all the symbols. Currently trying to get all the silver symbols first before going for gold.

Fairly easy, fucked myself out of a win over due to a misclick, but other than that it wasn't to much trouble.

Geeta was a cakewalk but HOLY FUCK getting to her was annoying. I knew I was in for some bullshit when my first run ended on the 3rd battle due to a Gastly that knew Hypnosis putting my entire team to sleep. Not looking forward to getting the Gold Symbol in this place.

And here's the team. They've been doing pretty well, but I have Latios in the back in case things get dire. Going to attempt the Palace next and I have no idea how it's going to go. I expect I'll have to train Pokemon specifically for this place, but If I can get at least the silver symbol with this team, I'll be happy with that.
