I mean think about it, these games have 600 to 800 monsters in them with DLC and not counting forms and recolors.
If you have a Digimon game like that it would be considered one of the best Digimon games on that factor alone same with SMT and so on, then there's the fact that there's actually non battling content like all of the minigames in SV along with unique battling content like battle royals and raids not to mention the towers and other replayable content that other games don't tend to have.
If anything it just shows how far down other tamers are even compared to the "worst" pokemon games.
DP and XY are worse than thoseAnd I say this as a massive Digimon fan who's jonesing for a new game. If we had anything close to that it would sate the fanbase for 10 years. The only reason why people here think pokemon games are bad is because they don't know anything other than pokemon and yeah, they've been going downhill since gen 6 but they're far from bad.
