well, it's a GREAT spin off. great concept art, fun to hunt for shinies, cool climax at the end.

SV is just garbage every way you look at it, though sword and shield are still worse

I love SV but I think as a game, PLA is better. It went for a different formula and it worked. I always like when a game series experiments, and Pokémon really needed it because it already got stale 15 years ago.

LA nailed a few things and that was enough for people to ignore how mid the rest of the game was

SV needed stuff like
>dynamic catching and trainer actions
>sidequest system
>alphas or some other super wild mon that can randomly appear
>pokedex completion being more integrated into the main story
