The sclera aren't black, they all just have very large pink irides along with black fur around the eye. Looks creepy when they draw it like that, not cute at all.An anon mentioned that it makes them more of a monster than a toy that GameFreak intended them to be (they're more or less made to be plushlike). Plus Renamon kinda need a sexy rival, despite them being a child in a technical sense (which is strange, considering Gato/Tailmon is an adult).
