Y’know… I noticed something peculiar about Pokemon fans in real life.
If Pokemon gets brought up in a discussion, female fans will always mention they like the series, and if indulged, they will speak about their game and merch collections. However, when it comes to the male Pokemon fans I know, none of them mention they like the series, implying that liking Pokemon is shameful.
Why is that the case? This isn’t unique to Pokemon, strangely Animal Crossing and Zelda and other Nintendo games are victim to this scenario as well.
