They could have easily put another sibling into mochi mayhem to take Carmine's spot while she's hypnotized, cleared up the absence of Carmine and Kiki's parents by having her return from another region where their parents are doing shit and also hint at gen 10. Has Game Freak ever thought about how players feel when they set up expectations and plot holes like this and get nothing instead of getting answers?
