I'll probably sell the Mewtwo since I'm not personally a Mewtwo fan and it has sold for up to 230$ in the last month. I might sell the Umbreon since I am not a huge RR fan. I'd sell the professor but I don't think anyone would buy lol. Poppy SIR is my favorite hit, I was actually trying to get that card. This version isn't perfect though sadly so it'll have to be upgraded in the future. Swellow is cool, I've never had a half art before so I'll hold on to it. Overall I just had a lot of fun opening though and very pleasantly i pulled more than the value of the packs.

I never thought I had anything worth money but I have a fair amount of cards that are probably 10-20+ dollars. Shame I had awful luck with holo foils. Or with finding 1st edition packs.
Not planning on selling, but it was a nice surprise when I was transferring some stuff from an old binder.

Fellow Lilliebro, I remeber early when I saw the card going below 1k and thinking to myself that I'd snag it when the price dipped a little more but that day never came. Many people lament never getting in early on crypto or stocks or whatever, but never owning a Battle Day Lillie is my one and truest regret.

no the former VP of pokemon bought it. he was the VP for WOTC for like 6 years, then when TCPi opened up, he moved over there and retired i think 2022. so basically the guy who bought it help run pokemon card distribution in north america for almost its entire run. pretty interesting story. he said that they are going to to a revamp and wants to start fresh with a new base set. coming 2025 i think.

2015 was a different time. its a shame honestly. everything has also changed with time. including PSA standards. i double check what i send in on whats on ebay. and cards on ebay that are better grades are just as much damaged as my cards.
part of the reason i dont wanna grade my cards. there gonna fuck mine over if there is the smallest white chip in one corner.

I hate how so many of the non-full art ex cards are just a lame shot of the Pokemon in a close dynamic shot. Some of the older ones were like that as well, maybe it's nostalgia talking, but it makes regular ex cards in the newer sets just kind of "whatever" to pull.
