Well there is your problem your examples feature to size pokemon when my experience with the games tells me pokemon are scaled down or up if smaller to match the players sprite/model.

I agree that the should be optional or toggleble, but given that following Pokemon in HGSS was likely an afterthought (the overworld Pokemon were created for BW Dream World and not for HGSS), it's understandable that it's not toggleble.

Same. The whole point of Pokemon is keeping the monsters in the Pokeballs in the first place. They should've shilled decorative customizable Pokeballs or some shit like that. Every trainer with personalized custom balls so it can be sold as merch
