So because of Hoenn's closeness to Kalos, what does the Pokeworld look like in canon? Ignore online features that connect to the real world, what does it looks like?

Yeah, definitely needs some tweaks. We know the Nature Reserve is underwater, inside Blueberry Academy, for one thing. Also, we know Faraway Island is near Guyana off the coast of whatever the Pokemon equivalent of South America is. Southern Island is in the wrong place, too - it's literally visible on the Hoenn map, right at the bottom.

Groudon and Kyogre woke up after the war concluded since the meteorite was irradiated by the ancient weapon and then flew close by the planet after. But then there should still be a mention of chaotic weather patterns since Groudon and Kyogre are supposed to mess with that shit on a worldwide scale.

it's not close, he's a good swimmer or a dry comedian (about to be a wet comedian).
But at least he sticks with his bit.

He has to swim further because they didn't finish Gen 6, but not THAT much further.

Johto and Kanto are right next to each other, separated by Mt. Moon
Sinnoh is north of Johto, connected to each other by the Sinjoh ruins
Hoenn is somewhere to the south of Kanto
Hoenn and Kalos are close eniugh you can swim between them, though likely with some difficulty
We can assume Galar and Paldea are close to Kalos
The real monkey wrench in this equation is Kitakami
Kitakami is said to be far away drom Paldea but near Hoenn
However, Kitakami is close enough to Sinnoh that ancient Hisuian pokemon like Ursaluna and Kleavor can just swim over to Kitakami
However, Sinnoh/Hoenn have to be decently far away from each other because it's FIRMLY established that Sinnoh is north of Johto due to the Sinjoh ruins

The first Groudon and Kyogre fight was 2000 years ago. The second just after the meteor crashed was 1000 and that's the one AZ saw if I remember right.

If we go by real world, then Johto (based on Kansai/Kinki) is closer to Hoenn (based on Kyushu) and Kitakami (Tohoku) is between Kanto and Sinnoh (based on Hokkaido), but closer to Sinnoh.

Theyre not close, swimmers just have unnatural, superhuman stamina. There are various examples of humans with extraordinary physical feats, like psychics, giants, and strongmen. My head anon is that humans have slight type affinities, and swimmers are part water type. Even just the fact that they are able to swim around deep oceans, sometimes far from land, while the player has to surf on a Pokemon, shows that they are much more adept at swimming than the average person.

In black/white there is a line of dialogue where Skyla chastises Cedric for using her cargo plane for personal travel and she states "And you're talking as if places like Kanto and Sinnoh are right around the corner!" Meaning we know Unova is at least a fair distance from those 2 regions.

We know Kitakami exists and that exists in real life as part of the Tohoku Region of Japan below Sinnoh in this case. Almia is also connected to Sinnoh/Tohoku in real life, so it stands to real it would connect as well, and Oblivia are based on islands to the north of Fiore, which is the Northwest/North of Johto, where part of Kalos would be on this map.

It's safe to say that Japan in it's entirety exists in the Pokeworld.
