a thread for the only non-dragon pseudo. beldum and metang are also welcome of course. last thread i made with this image got me banned for genwarring lol. try wrapping your head around that one.

Tyranitar isn't a dragon either, but I GUESS Metagross is the only pseudo that doesn't learn any dragon-type moves

Presumably it's an attempt to keep things formulaic to ensure maximum profit. I assume they would think some would find it off-putting if the strongest nonlegendary in the game wasn't a dragon.

Beldum should have been available for capture in granite cave. Why did they ruin him like that? literally just pass the entire game before you get a beldum with whom you cannot explore anything as the adventure is over by then, how could they not see this?

Because despite all the "Post game" memes, Pokemon really did factor in the idea of a post game back then.
This is because they designed the base game to not include the dex completion requirement.
