Normally I'd say fuck local game stores, but when I used to live near one, it was a great way to pick up commons. I could build a deck, bring it to the counter and the owner would ask how many cards there were.
I'd be like, '60'. And then he'd sell it to me for 5 bucks, even though it was 10 cents a card.
Meanwhile, if I go online to get the same commons, they average 25 cents +S&H (you'd normally buy a bunch of cards to spread the S&H out over the entire order, but if we're being '''fair''', it's 10 cents LGS, and like $1.99+ online.)
But yeah, as a collector, I can't help but feel preyed upon by scalpers sometimes. I mean, what am I going to do? NOT buy it?
I need it to complete the set.
It is what it is, I guess.
