I wish GF also made a few games that used already existing pokemon and moves up to certain gens only (let's say 7), set in already existing regions. They'd have more time and resources to dedicate to the developing of the game itself, rather than spending them all on increasingly unimaginative new pokemon and regions. It's been so long since I played a pokemon game that felt fully fleshed-out. I think B2W2 was the last time. XY and SM at least cared about presentation, and you could still use every pokemon and every move (they have no excuse to cut them on Switch when handheld games could handle the content just fine). They can keep making slop if they want to, but that shouldn't stop them from making other games as well. I remember when a new generation meant quality main games (plus thrid version), quality remakes, several quality spin-offs (Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, even unusual stuff like Conquest). Back then, when they had less money, they somehow managed to develop all these games and not launch them full of bugs they'd only fix later. Honestly, what happened?
