I just play the "polished" version of crystal, it stays close to the original and has mareep/flaffy/ampharos modded into it since you could only get that pokemon through trade originally. you also get the running shoes right away in this version.

Just play the original. Crystal Clear on the side is also fine if you want to have an easier time preparing for Stadium 2.

Why do the legendary beasts look so tiny? Entei is 6'11'', the same as Mantine's wingspan but it looks so small in comparison. Entei looks shorter than Scizor which is only 5'11''.
