Describe Your Dream Pokémon Game.
My look more or less like this:
Mechanics That Should Return:
>Battle Frontier
>Legendaries that require puzzle-solving to obtain them (like the Regi trio)
>EXP Share can be turned off and/or only work on one Pokémon
>You can fight protagonists from previous games
>A rival who is actually challenging
>The last Gym Leader and Elite Four have at least five Pokémon (since Gen 5, they’ve only had four)
>A post-game with lots of things to do, like exploring new locations
>Time events, like the Bug-Catching Contest or certain Pokémon appearing only on specific days of the week
>Gym Leader rematches
>You can use Pokémon outside of battle, like in Legends: Arceus
>Many things to do outside of battle
New Mechanics:
>Gym Leaders have teams based on the number of badges you’ve earned. For example, if the player has 0 badges, they use their weakest team.
>Related to the above: Freedom to choose the order of Gym battles.
>Trainers, or at least the rival, can have teams that counter your last-used team. For example, if your team has Fire- and Grass-types, the next battle will feature Pokémon that are super effective against them.
>There are also Gym Leaders who have teams with various themes like defensive or offensive themes, not only restricted to a single type.
>An actual Pokémon League similar to the anime, with random trainers you’ve previously fought and your rival (I don’t have an idea for what the Elite Four and Champion would have).
