When you have thousands of characters, everyone will have favorites and want to draw them doing stuff.
There are thousands of art of Peach being fucked by Bowser to the point that it's been done and redone : Klefki doesn't have much art but some people still draw it and, seeing there isn't much drawings about it, will keep drawing more, and it's fucking Klefki of all mons. If unpopular characters still get a few hundred drawings, the number can only skyrocket quickly.
Also, some franchises are popular mostly with kids right now so it's obvious why the porn for them won't appear in mass right away. Pokémon has had the time to grow a huge amount of porn in comparison. And if you look at the numbers, half are the Pokémon, half the humans so it's not even because of furries or something, and the most popular ones tend to all have similar numbers.
Only one exception : Gardevoir. That's what happens when you create a naturally suggestive animal with human features to the max, both sides will become obsessed by it for years to come.
