There's plenty of existing Pokémon who should be Baby Pokémon and plenty of existing Pokémon who should have a pre-evo.
>a shit mechanicI do think the mechanic needs improving, rather than just ignoring the category altogether. They should add positives to Baby Pokémon to compensate for the drawbacks of Baby Pokémon. For one thing, in XY all Pokémon in the Undiscovered Egg Group got three perfect IV's, it would be good if they brought that back.
