I sometimes forget about this thing, but whenever I remember I get almost entranced by its design, Vibrava captures what fascinates me about bugs even more than many actual bug types
I feel it should 100 special attack to match with Trapinch and Flygon having 100 Attack.

Regardless it’s absolute bull that their solution was to scapegoat Porygon. I don’t know if the script said “put in seizure-inducing lights” or if that was the animatirs putting in their “personal touch” because they hate children, but someone should have been fired for life for that shit, but NOT Porygon
Even “better” in Pokémon Yellow (the game based on the anime) when Pikachu shocks you, they put in a strobe light effect.
Every time I try to huff copium like a battered wife and forgive game freak for “recent events” I remember them doing shit like this I realize I don’t hate those fuckers enough.
I wouldn’t blame anyone whose all time favorite Pokémon was Porygon if they had left Pokemon behind after that shit, though Porygon’s GenWun Seal means the whole line will be respected enough by TPC and Game Freak to get appearances and appreciation in other aspects of the franchise, sadly just not the anime. Though believe me, “recent events” pretty much proved that if Porygon has initially be Gen 2, they wouldnt consider it important enough to save.
