I'd probably say I like about as many Gen 5 as Gen 1 mons. Like a don't give a shit about rattata, nor patrat. They both suck. Zubat and Woobat can both eat shit. Crobat is still the best, unless we count Noivern as more bat than Wyvern.
But Trubbish is a better design then Grimer, to me.
Arcanine will never be topped by any other region's doggo.
I'd rather have Serperior than Venusaur. But would take Charmander over Tepig, but Dewott over Wartortle. (And Blastoise over Samurott)
It will be a fun set. I'll collect like I always do, just the cards I like. (I don't collect entire expansions).
