I want a game with ~150 mons but every Pokemon has at least three or four aesthetic variants.
Nothing crazy like “Alolan forms,” just cool palette swaps. Do you agree?

Some changes could be obvious (Onix with crystals, Onix made of shale or sandstone instead of grey rocks). Others could be simple, like a Pikachu with a frowny face instead of a smile

That was one of the big things I liked about rumble and quest. Cutting back to the first 151, but actually caring about making a good game with a cool style.

I agree, in a world where Pokemon even had 1/10th the SOUL of Crystal version, we’d have this already

>Smirk face (+spec attack)
>Calm face (+def)
>Sleepy face (+spec def)
>Wide eyes (+speed)
>Normal face (any neutral nature)
And that’s just five new variations per Pokemon. You could do even less
Gardevoir

>Bangs hiding eyes (+ speed or neutral)
>Haughty expression (+attack or def)
Boom only three variations. One normal / fast, one for special, one for physical
