>>56976664Fairy is still the strongest type and has only gotten stronger. Whimsicott is just not good in singles because Tailwind isn't good in singles and Grimmsnarl is fine. Tiers below OU have banned Light Clay because it was too powerful so Grimmsnarl fell from UU to PU. If Light Clay was unbanned, Grimmsnarl would rise back up to UU. Sylveon is actually the highest tiered Eeveelution and Scream Tail is the worst Paradox-mon so it'd obviously fall to the lower tiers.
Clefable, Primarina, Enamorus, Hatterene, and Iron Valiant all have OU in a chokehold. There are so many viable Fairy types that it functions like Steel where the ones in the lower tiers aren't bad, they just can't compete with the other two dozen broken Pokemon in their type.
