Why even make it learn the move at that point? The game already gives you Rock Tomb once you beat the second gym.

Yeah that's lame, egg moves in general have always been a pet peeve for me. Nowadays I just play god and PKHeX/hack them in because I'm not about to go through the shitshow of (chain)breeding and raising up a whole new mon.
Such a shame too, snowballing moves like Rollout and Fury Cutter can be so fun.

Whitney has options to beat her but come on Miltank still has a higher BST than anything you get at that point unless you do some stupid shit like grind extra levels then trade to get a Golem or Gengar just for her, but if you know what's coming and can prep she can be managed.

Yeah and this isn't from a smogtard lens, Like miltank is genuinely a menace with good speed/defense and solid attack. Especially this being gen2 and alot of single stage mons are shit.
