Shrine maidens are typically seen as magical due to how closely spirituality overlaps with it. I feel like that would be more interesting and frankly tying closer to its femininity than say making it a Gandalf with a huge staff and more aesthetically pleasing than just plopping a Mismagius hat on it, though if they find a way to make an animation of it riding its staff like a broom work in battle, I wouldn't be too upset by that.
Fire/Fairy would be nice, but feels a little unnecessary and realistically with Ash-Greninja likely being categorized as mega evolution in the event they get megas at all, a type-swap would be kind of out of place.
Just give it Magic Bounce honestly, or Psychic Terrain to be extra normie. Though I wouldn't say no to a signature ability that looks like a fairy type Steelworker
