Genuine question. Why is there so much..."fan art" of Eevee x Sylveon? It's fucking weird how much of it there is. There's literally a ton of it, way more than any other -lution x Eevee, and I don't get why it's so common.

Sylveon's Japanese name is Nymphia, which comes from the Greek nature spirit we get the common term for hypersexuality from. They originally evolved from the now-deprecated Affection rather than Friendship. Their standard Ability is a chance to cause opposite-gender Pokemon to become Infatuated if hit by a contact-making move.

They sex-coded as all hells, even without touching the tranny or grooming allegations.

As far as I'm aware, nymph in ancient Greek is just a bride or otherwise young woman. Sylph can also refer to a young woman. Sylveon is just the bride Pokemon.
