I fucking despise when the anime bullshit mixes with the games, like when they gave ONLY Pikachu and Eevee their stupid anime sounds after multiple generations. I've grown to appreciate the form a little more on its own merits though.

This didn't happen. Battle Bond and Protean went unchanged until Gen 9, when they butchered the Ability to just being a once-per-battle boost to Atk, Sp. Atk, and Speed upon landing a KO, and made Protean only activate once per switch in. Why are you lying?
