I mean, it's the last time the game series felt truly soulful.

If you mean the animations then yes, they are hideous

Look dude, as someone who really likes pixel art, I respect that you like Gen 5 animations BUT most sprites are deformed due to how they are animated (there are a few exceptions like Klinklan or ferrosed, those are properly animated)

For most Pokemon the animations are fine, but a few of them like Sudowoodo, Aerodactyl, Onix and Deoxys look terrible in Gen 5 due to the animations.
