You want MY opinion? I think BDSP is not only better than DP, but also better than Platinum. Obviously, Platinum lacks BDSP's QoL improvements, which is already a big bonus for BDSP. Also, BDSP plays a lot more smoothly and faster than Platinum. Player movement, hp bar depletion, etc.
Aside from these obvious improvements tho, BDSP is also better than Platinum in various ways:
>The Grand Underground alone, makes BDSP superior to Platinum in my book. It's just miles better and more immersive, in every way. The fact that it's not empty, but full of different Pokemon and biomes is awesome. It's just hard for me to go back to DPPt Underground after trying BDSP's Grand Underground>Post game rematches against Gym Leaders, Elite 4 and Champion are much harder in BDSP>The BDSP Battle Tower is literally harder than Platinum's entire Battle Frontier>Ramanas Park Legendary hunt instead of useless Pal Park>Simplified but much more fun Super Contests>Improved Seals (Stickers) mechanics>Trainer Customization>Lucas/Dawn post game rematchesI could go on, but yeah, I just like BDSP more than Platinum.
