>>57004910>Why is that OP, gonna need an explanation on that one.In Emerald, the Battle Frontier had two settings: Level 50 and Open Level. Level 50 only allowed Pokemon that were level 50 or less. Open Level allowed all levels and scaled to your Pokemon with the the highest level, but the floor was level 60.
What often ended up happening for me is that I'd be training a team to level 50, but one of them would get accidentally over-leveled in the process. Rather than start over, I would keep leveling them to 60 so they could compete in Open Level. The habit stuck with me in later generations (even though they just downscale your Pokemon to level 50 now if they're over).
