Not counting pokemon with a mega evolution the most likely are Zangoose and Seviper as they are rival single-stage evolutions with cool designs that have largely been forgotten. Could also get megas instead.
Druddigon could also get something after always being completely overshadowed.

Personally I'd like to see another Ancient Evolution trio/quartet where dormant genes like Mamoswine, Tangrowth, and Yanmega get reactivated. In this case Skarmory evolving into a terror bird mixed with a crusader knight, Mightyena evolving into a Hyaenodon mixed with the beast of Gevaudan, and Hypno evolving into a Chalicoterium mixed with a European monarch and/or Musharna evolving into a Paraceratherium mixed with a sultan, both representing holy war.

Gen 5 seems most likely for evolutions, compared to PLA where they mostly got regional forms with the exception of Basculegion. As for regional forms, who can say? Gen 2 and 3 are still pretty prime for them, but I can also seem them making forms for gen 7 and 8 mons to fit with gen 5 getting them in PLA as a way to have them be present.

Well for one Masquerain is so frail eviolite isn't going to help it. It's also very difficult to justify going back to water/bug from water/flying without some variation of levitate being involved, nevermind from a design standpoint of having a bug effectively devolve. There's a lot more freedom to make something cool if they just split it.

honestly my main concern is actually that they just go the easy route of giving it levitate if it's an evolution from masquerain, it'll means sacrificing it's niche as the only bug type in the entire franchise with intimidate.
