Need your help, because I haven't followed Pokemon since literally Gold/Silver.
I want to get some art books as a present for someone, I'm just wondering what's available out there that isn't stupidly expensive (like rare limited edition Japan-only releases or whatever). I'm willing to spend up to ~$80 each for 2 or 3 books, used or new doesn't matter.
I'm looking for things with concept art, full color illustrations, TCG art, that kind of thing.
So far, I've found Scarlet/Violet and Pearl/Diamond books (I think both were pre-order bonuses in Japan? Does each pair have identical content?), a TCG book with Rayquaza on the cover, some book from Sword and Shield, Aloha art book...is there anything I'm missing that's from the more recent generations?
A lot of the pre-order ones seem a bit sparse (understandable, being freebies), so I'm not sure if they're really worth getting. If I could only get 2 or 3 out of them all, which ones should I go for?
