With the nature of anonymous imageboards most of it could just be a few guys or a ton of different genwarriors, with varying AI usage, actual stake in the franchise, loyalty to a given generation and positions on the spectrum of doing it for sport vs thinking they can seriously change other posters’ opinions on an anonymous site
Also if you see any particular boogeyman that isn’t a tripfag then there’s a 99% chance there might actually just be multiple people pretending to be that same boogeyman, with zero idea who the other people behind the boogeyman even are
oh and one last thing, it’s highly likely that most genwarriors tend to switch the gens they shill for and hate frequently to enhance their trolling capabilties, and as standard for imageboard derailniggers, they’ll randomly throw around (usually bullshit) accusations of samefagging and occassionally they’ll impersonate people during arguments to lash out while pretending to be someone in a polite conversation or politely concede during a flamewar
Regardless, trying to argue on 4chan is a crapshoot and the only ones who seriously do so are trolls or fools thinking they have any hope of changing others’ opinion
