Even Altaria is relatively niche despite how home-run its concept is; it gets some mainline attention (Wallace's cousin had one as an ace, it got a mega, it's a popular choice for merchandising and "slightly uncommon but still recognizable mon we need for a gag" anime skits), but I almost never see people claim it as a proper favorite. It's a shame, it really is a stellar design and I wish it got more fan attention than "lol why is Altaria a dragon" (it's a Feng. It's because it's a Feng.)
btw, rest of your team is very based. I love all but Slakoth in there, and even Slakoth is alright (I just don't really like its color scheme and the pig nose makes me raise a brow).
throwing in a Kalos team as well because honestly I always liked it as a region (sans the shitty desert) and the leaks have made me feel incredibly sympathetic for it. What could have been etc etc, but it really is underappreciated. I love how they really tried to show how beautiful France was in how they detailed the enormous monuments and wildlife, alongside (some of) the UI and fashion. The four seasons theming throughout the adventure was also a total treat and helped slightly make up for the horrible pacing past Shalour through gorgeous aesthetics.
Laverre City alone looks better than anything in Alola or on the Switch, fight me.
