>>57034591I fully recommend Scarlet. It's the best Pokemon game they've ever made and I'm not being facetious. I never once got a bug playing it so I feel like people are exaggerating based on the select instances they've seen online. I played on Switch and the most I got was some graphical stuttering here and there (mostly in Tagtree Thicket), but I got stuttering while playing SwSh and PLA too so don't let people mislead you about it being something only SV has. The amazing navigation, sense of freedom, and diversity of story content makes the game have a ton going for it, only to be continued in the DLC and a separate epilogue. The game feels really immersive with all the different habitats. And something that can't be understated is how much lore for each character they provide without shoving it in your face. If you want to learn more about someone like the nurse or a teacher, you can pursue that on your own and the game allows it through optional quests, unlike in previous games where you're railroaded. I will say my biggest gripe is probably with the art style of the humans since it's reminiscent of Pokemon Go which I don't care for, but for the Pokemon themselves they look great with the new updated textures. My previous favorite games were HGSS, then PLA, and now SV. I didn't expect PLA to be topped after such a long time sticking to HGSS, but SV blew my expectations out of the water. I can't even go back to playing PLA anymore after playing SV. The navigation is just a lot worse with PLA, where you have to keep opening the map to know where you're going. SV allows seamless navigation transitions since it's all on your one Legendary, and has the map right there on the screen already so you can know where you're going.
I 100% agree with
>>57034616 because these games feel like the kind of experience that will grow staunch defenders for generations to come. I didn't like DP or BW that much when they came out and now there are tons of people parading them.
