Because most of the people don't even realize you can actually go into the classrooms and do classes or that they have little quests associated with them. The only time she's ever relevant is that shit ass minigame before Tulip that overstays its welcome. Otherwise she's just a random hot girl with no presence, which while is huge, is not enough to be popular, especially with no memes like Hex Maniac.

I agree she barelly appears in the game and her pals neither, Tulip is a late gym leader and Miriam is only seen in Dendra's school subquest

Well Miriam has her own quest too, but otherwise yeah they're all pretty irrelevant in general beyond just backstory stuff with the world. She's a cool character however.

I started writing a fanfic that moderately features her on a whim and now I'm in love with her. I'm probably more in love with the character I wrote than actually her, if that makes sense, but oh well.
