This game's attention to detail is best in class in cutscenes with all of the expressive sprites and portraits. Music was significantly above average for the usual fangame fare as well. The character designs themselves are sexo and the writing of the characters ranges from decent to good with one standout exception; Alba having visual motifs of the clash of philosophies of Sara and Lilliana is peak storytelling integrated into the character design, right down to the Uxie hallucination forcing her to confront the duality of them in the form of splitting her mother in two. Owen's arc was also really well done, but it didn't hit quite the same high for me that Alba's did. The boss fight sequence on top of the mountain was one of the most creative fights in a fangame having phases both in-engine combat but also dodging attacks on the overworld map. The minigames were also pretty good throughout the game as well.
>Verdict It's a great game obviously. There's a lot of great games that I struggle to recommend due to being non-standard or having some quirks that might put some people off, but not this one; I can safely say that nearly anybody wanting a standard-ish pokemon game that's competent in nearly everything it does should give this a try with the only caveat being it's on the easy side. The number is ultimately meaningless but I can easily give this game a 9/10 if seeing a number is what you want to see at the end of a review. Play it if you haven't already, Realidea is a good time.
