Combing the results of SEPERATE polls with different numbers of votes makes no sense when determining the fanbase's liking of dexes. The one I posted asked for favorite mons among all, showing which dex is generally liked. You're just comparing which polls got more or less votes when the instructions were never "vote in the poll of your favorite dex".
Someone could just as easily argue that other regions have more clear favorites, while Unova's has so many people couldn't decide and so fewer voted on it. Your supposed reason has no standing.
