>>57046149>Bide, a decent moveThe only way you're getting use out of it is in-game, and even then, only if the opponent has no means of KOing you in the randomly-chosen 2-3 turns. If that's the case, you'd actually accomplish more by just attacking 2-3 times, or setting up and then attacking. It's completely worthless in multiplayer, because it's too easy to play around and exploit.
>Egg BombHey, you know what else Exeggutor learns? Body Slam. Which has marginally less power, but not 70 accuracy for no reason, and a handy 30% chance to Paralyze. There's also Double-Edge, which is stronger than Egg Bomb, and again doesn't have 70 accuracy for no reason. It also gets Hyper Beam, which is still stronger, doesn't have 70 accuracy, and doesn't make you wait on a KO (you're only using Hyper Beam on a KO or another Exeggutor anyway). Or, you could run Explosion.
>Psywave, A totally legit moveIt's absolutely not. Let me remind you how Psywave actually works in Gen 1. It has 80 accuracy. Psywave inflicts a random amount of damage, varying between 1 and 1.5x the user's Level if you use it, and 0 and 1.5x the user's Level when an opponent does. This includes link battles - and, if a 0 is generated, it desyncs the games due to the opponent's side receiving 0 damage while the user's game generates random numbers until it gets a result between 1 and 1.5x the user's Level It's dogshit: It's inaccurate, the damage varies far, far too widely to be remotely worth the risk, and it actually breaks the game if you try to use it in multiplayer for the meme. It is not a viable option, and never has been.
>RageLet me remind you how Rage works in Gen 1. Once you use Rage, you are now stuck using it forever. If your accuracy drops for any reason, it will reapply every turn, until it basically becomes 0. You are not KOing anything with 20 power.
>CounterIt would be better if this weren't Gen 1, and it failed on any move that wasn't Normal or Fighting-type. As is, it's too restrictive.
