Unironically why? I really like the sneakfrog and always hated Ash Greninja. XYZ was a horrible shonen that brought SAO self inserters into Pokemon and A-Greninja was a symptom of that. The design is also very ugly; the "hair" looks uncanny coming off of a frog and the red clashes horribly, it's a very ungraceful design on something that was arguably already pushing it with the tongue scarf.
I'm glad this thing got retconned out of existence, hopefully its because Greninja gets an actual mega in PLZA.
