Which one you would chose?
His team depends on which starter you pick.
The only common ones are Pidgeot, Alakazam and Rhyhorn.

Not him, but if you're gonna have him be represented without overlapping any other Gym Leaders/E4 or Starters, then his Ace would be Exeggcutor. Blaine has Growlithe/Arcanine, Lance has Gyarados/Aerodactly, Bruno has Machamp, Sabrina has Kadraba/Alakazam, Giovanni has Rhyhorn/Rhydon, so it's literally just Exeggcutor or Pidgeot, and Erika at least represents Grass. She knocks out Exeggcutor if we're counting the BW2 Tournaments however.

If anything represents Blue/Green however it's usually Blastoise or Charizard, depending on your region, most would say Blastoise however.

Nemona's team isn't even her real team, it's just a team she uses and catches to retrain as you're doing your challenge. The only Pokemon we know that she had before are Kommo-o, Milotic, Ribombee, Dusknoir, and either Decidueye, Infernape, or Greninja.

Realistically yes, but most people would associate Pawmot with her though in all honesty, even if it's not accurate. What's really interesting is that the other starters imply that she's probably from Galar or Kalos, because I can't imagine she's from Sinnoh. Considering Penny is from Galar, there would be some weird overlap, so she's probably from Kalos.

She states in her league club conversation with Hassel that she caught her Kommo-o when she was in Kitakami. We can assume she caught Ribombee/Milotic/Dusknoir and Decidueye/Infernape/Greninja in Kitakami/the Terarium as well. The only Pokémon that we know for a fact that she had before she met you were Tauros (she uses it in the opening cutscene and eventually trades it to you) and Kilowattrel (she uses it in Paldean Winds, which takes place before the events of SV).

Don't forget that she mentions she never got a Pokemon from the school, so if she had a Pokemom before hand it was either gifted to her by her parents, or its definitely another region's starter. Could probably argue that Orthworm or Dundunsparce were part of her original team since they only show up post-Champion. Only thing we truly know for sure like one of you said is the Combat Tauros.

Wallace, Alder and Hau don't belong. N is missing.
Everyone else here is the highest ranked/strongest trainer in their region before you defeat them and take their title.
Wallace is just filling in for Steven. He has no claim to being the best in Hoenn.
Alder is disposed of before you get to him. And then you beat N who does belong on this list. When you face Alder afterwards he is not the strongest trainer in Unova and only holds the title on the technicality that N wasn't put in the Hall of Fame before Ghetsis made his move.
Kukui doesn't have an official title but only because it didn't exist before he invented it. He is the strongest trainer in Alola until you beat him. Hau never beats him.

Alakazam is actually the only consistent part of his team if we also include his Yellow version teams. The only time Pidgeot is poised to take the 'ace' slot on his team is HeartGold/SoulSilver, where Blue drops Alakazam from his party for the first time in the main series, and where Pidgeot is his highest level mon. Alakazam by contrast is never his highest level mon, but in gameplay could often be seen as the most dangerous member of his team with the strong STAB Psychic attack.

The entire point of Ghetsis's plan was to legitimately make N the champion so that people would listen to him and free their pokemon. They'd listen to a champion way before they'd listen to a terrorist. Pretty sure Alder concedes the championship when you show up right after he loses to N.

The only reason he's not recognized is because he summons the Castle and raid it AFTERWARDS, abusing said power of the title immediately. Meaning he's not officially inducted into the Hall of Fame because of how soon the plan was enacted, he could have waited literally 5 minutes and done the plan and been officially recognized. But even still, you gain the title afterwards by beating him and saving the day. Meaning the League recognizes that you beat the guy that beat the Champion, ie: the current Champion.

He himself says he is going to challenge the gyms after Chargestone Cave, and every single E4 member says they faced N as well, so it's pretty implied he speedran through the Gyms like it was nothing. Also he walks out of Lenora's gym at one point. He just refuses to accept the title. Regardless of whether its legitimate or not, he's clearly skilled enough (whether you wanna count Zekrom/Reshiram or not) to have accomplished beating the League and its respective Champion, he should be considered Champion level at the very least.

That is correct, Oak says he was on his way to congratulate Blue and by the time he arrives, Red has beaten him. Oak is the one who inducts into the Hall of Fame, so Blue never got inducted. But he's still regarded as a Champion and was even offered the position once Red went on his way, took the Viridian Gym Leader position instead, and Lance became Champion after a League restructure.
