Why the fuck did GF stop making Champion battle themes that sound serious from Gen 5 onwards? The only exception I can think of is Kieran from the DLC but that's a one time thing where once you beat him that's it, it's not even congruent with the Elite 4 themes since they keep the tension in the music while the Champion theme decides to be prematurely celebratory before you even won the battle and it pisses me off
