It was unnecessary and boring and shitty (I presume, I didn’t watch it because The Joker didn’t need a sequel).
People who resonated strongly with an unreliable narrator visibly struggling with delusions are mad about this because they don’t understand that the movie is a complete story and they wanted more, and therefore subjected themselves to some alt-hoe popstar’s terrible musical.
