He had pins placed in his back that probably were uncomfortable and impeded life to some degree (if only barely) that was expensive and not covered, and then his grandparents both died and were likely denied certain claims and health coverage and it all just built up. Probably something recently with it, either a family member or himself just finally set it all off like a landmine.
